The Chinese were the first to enjoy kicking balls and putting them in nets as a sport in the 3rd century BC, and the sport known worldwide as football was formalized in England in the 19th century.
FOOTBALL RULES: Each match is played between two opposing teams of 11 players each, during two halves that last 45 minutes. The objective of both teams is to put the ball into the opposing team's net. If a team achieves it, they score a goal. The goalkeeper of each team remains in front of the goal to protect it.
